Search and Filter SMS Template

The Search and Filter SMS Template feature allows you to quickly search for a given template by name or by filtering on specific criteria.

1. To Search and Filter SMS Template, navigate to the Template Listing page by clicking on Template from the left main navigation bar, then select SMS, the SMS Template List page appers.

   

2. You can order your Template List based on Template Name, Sender Id, Template Id, Category or by Created On date. Simply click on the Column Name to order the list by that column values. First click will order the list alphabetically A to Z or Lowest to Greatest, a second click on same column order the list alphabetically Z to A or Greatest to Lowest.

3. To search by Template Name, type the partial or full Template Name into the Search Box and the system automatically will refresh the Template List page displaying only those templates whose name match the search. Also, you can search using also partial string.

   

4. If you want to remove the Search by Template Name, simply click on the "x" icon in the search box or delete the search string. The full template list will be displayed.

5. You can filter Template List by clicking on the Filter button. the filter options are displayed.

   

6. To add a filtering condition, select the fields you want to use for filtering using the Select Criteria dropdown, option are:

   1. Content to filter based on Template content

   2. Template Id to filter based on Template Id

   3. Sender Id to filter based on Sender Id

   4. Status to filter based on current template status

   5. Purpose to filter based on template purpose

   6. Created On to filter based on template creation date

      

7. Select the filtering Criteria and then from the Condition dropdown select the operator to be used for filtering.

   1. For all Select Criteria options other than Content and Created On, the allowed Condition is "Equals"

   2. For Content the allowed Condition is "Is"

   3. For Date Range the allowed Condition is "Between"

      

8. Select from the "Select a option" dropdown the values that Template should match to be returned as filter result

   1. For all Select Criteria option other than Content, Template Id and Created On, the system provides the list of applicable values for filtering in the dropdown

   2. For Content and Template Id you can enter the value to be matched as a free text

   3. For Date Range you can the start date and the end date to be considered for Created On

      

9. You can also apply multiple filter as needed on different Select Criteria, in this case only templates matching all the filter conditions will be returned

   

10. Click Apply to see the list of Template matching your filtering. The small number icon inside Filters button indicates the number of filters applied to the search

    

11. If you want to remove all the Filters, click on the Filters button and click Reset Filter. The full list of available templates will be returned.

12. If no template matched your search through the search box or through Filters, a error message is displayed
