Automation use case: Orders Workflow

The Shopify Marketing Automations allows you to create automated workflow for multiple events related to orders using the Kaleyra plugin for sending messages. Example of possible automation is the triggering of a proper message to the right recipient when an order is created, refunded, fulfilled, or canceled by the end-customers. When any of these events happen in the system, then SMS is sent to the end-customers about the event status.

In the following, for the sake of simplicity and clarity, the create order workflow automation is used as an example to show how you can leverage Kaleyra SMS within the Shopify Orders Workflow.

You can automate the following orders workflow:

  • Order Create - An SMS is triggered to the end-customer when the order is created in the system.
  • Order Refund - An SMS is triggered to the end-customer when the order is refunded in the system.
  • Order Fulfilled - An SMS is triggered to the end-customer when the order is fulfilled in the system.
  • Order Cancelled - An SMS is triggered to the end-customer when the order is canceled in the system.
