You can send SMS to your contacts and companies.

Send SMS to Contacts

You can send the SMS to your contacts. Also, you have the option to add or import contacts.

To send SMS to contacts:

  1. Sign in to your HubSpot CRM account.
    The Dashboard Library page appears.

  1. From the top menu bar, click Contacts and then select Contacts.
    The Contacts list appears.

Notes:

  • You can create new contacts. From the top-right pane click Create contact, enter the required details and click Create contact.
  • You can import the contacts from your HubSpot account or other applications.
  1. Click the contact to send the SMS.
    The contact details appear.

  1. From the right pane, scroll down to Kaleyra CRM card.

Note:

You can view Kaleyra settings details, to view the settings details, click Settings. For more information see Configure Kaleyra Settings with HubSpot

  1. Click Send.

  1. The Send SMS section has the following options:
  • SMS Type - Click the arrow next to SMS Type to view the list. Select the SMS Type.
  • Sender ID - Click the arrow next to Sender ID to view the list. Select the Sender ID.
  • Template - Click the arrow next to Template to view the list of pre-registered templates. You can select the template, and based on the template, the message gets updated in the Message section.
  • Recipient Number - Click the arrow next to the Recipient Number. For contacts, you have two types of recipient phone number fields - Mobile and Phone. Choose as required.

Note:

If you select the Company, you have the only option for a Phone number.

  1. The Message section has the following options:

You can compose a message in multiple ways:

a. Use static message content through a template or compose a message directly.

b. Insert dynamic parameters to your message content using the Add Parameter feature.

  • +Add Short URL

i. Click on the + icon OR Add Short URL link.
ii. Click {#AddURL#}. The Parameter Data Type section appears.

iii. Select the Short URL option and enter the URL in the Add Full URL field.

iv. Track User - You can find "{kadvanced}" at the end of the URL in the Message field, if the tracker user option is enabled then click Save.

The updated URL will be displayed as a short URL in the Message field.

Note:

Ensure you add HTTPs.

  • +Add Parameter

i. Click on the + icon OR Add Parameter link. The Add parameter consists of three open and close curly braces {{{}}}.
ii. Click curly braces {{{}}}. The Parameter Data Type section appears.

iii. Select the value option and then click the arrow next to Map to field to view the list. Supported fields are Contact Personalization and CDO Personalization.

iv. Default Value - Enter the default value and click Save.

The added parameter will be displayed in the Message field.

Note:

  • If the added parameter has no value, then it will return to the Default Value field in the Parameter Data Type section.
  1. The Preview section displays the preview of the draft message.
  2. Select one of the following options:
  • Send Test SMS - Enter your registered mobile number to send a test SMS message. Click Send Test SMS. The Test SMS has been sent. Did you receive the test SMS? message appears.
  • Schedule SMS - Click Schedule SMS. In the Select date field, enter the date. In the Select time field, enter the time, and then c and le SMS. The SMS gets scheduled. Click the Scheduled SMS to view the scheduled SMS.
  • Send SMS Now - Click Send SMS Now to send an immediate message. The SMS Request Submitted Successfully message appears.

Note:

You can view the Sent SMS logs from your Kaleyra account or the contacts dashboard page. In the contacts dashboard page, from the right pane, scroll down to the Kaleyra section, and then click Settings. On the Kaleyra - Settings page, click Logs.

Send SMS to Companies

You can send SMS to your companies. Also, you have the option to add or import contacts.

To send SMS to companies:

  1. Sign in to your HubSpot CRM account.
    The Dashboard Library page appears.

    The Companies details appear.

  • You can create new companies. From the top-right pane click Create company, enter the required details and click Create company.

Notes:

  • If you are sending SMS to companies, you can send only to the Phone number.
  • You can view the Sent SMS logs either from from your Kaleyra account or s dashboard page. On the companies dashboard page, from the right pane, scroll down to the Kaleyra Send SMS section, and then click Settings. On the Kaleyra - Settings page, click Logs.
