Broadcasts

You can create a broadcast message to target the users who have elected to receive messages from your company. There are different types of Broadcast messages that can be sent using Communicate Pro:

• SMS or MMS Broadcast—a static message sent to all users in a list with optional scheduling, throttling, and other controls.
• Template broadcast—a dynamic message sent to users in a list. Template broadcast messages are created using variables or parameters in the message body which are filled in at run-time, similar to using the mail merge functionality of a word processing program.

Note:

Template broadcast messages are configured through Communicate Pro, but are sent using the Communicate Pro API.

• Quick messages—similar to a broadcast message, a quick message is a static message sent to all members of a list. Quick messages are sent immediately without any scheduling or throttling.
